Making six figures does not mean you have left survival mode behind, as many high earning service providers and business owners still fight hidden identity battles rooted in childhood attachment styles.
These deep-seated patterns quietly sabotage your business through relentless hustling, chronic desperation, and a lingering deficit in how you lead your team and spark new ideas.
I’ve seen this in my work with clients who earn around the six-figure mark but still find themselves overwhelmed or hustling. Especially when they desire to earn more but can’t rap their head around it getting to be easier.
They are making decisions based on survival and not thriving. Not abundance.
And those come from two different identity sets.
It’s not always easy to see at first glance but there are hidden costs to operating in an identity of Survival Mode, despite how much money you’re earning.
One of the constant adjustments I make with my clients who are in this position is to get them out of The Hustle Trap.In the hustle trap you push harder and work longer hours because deep down, you feel that resting or stopping means your business, and your safety, will fall apart despite earning at a high level.
Secondly, making money through Desperation in Sales. It shows up.
It doesn’t hide.
That energy is transferred.
Even if clients (potential clients) can’t articulate what it is that they’re sensing from you, they feel it. Even with good money coming in, client interactions or revenue dips trigger panic, leading you to move from a place of urgency rather than calm confidence.
Whenever you are subconsciously operating through desperation you always make desperate decisions not empowered ones.
Everything happening in business falls from the top. It even has an Impact on Your Team. Your nervous system sets the tone for your staff, creating high stress, a lack of clear boundaries, and burnout across your culture. So many leaders have no idea why they can’t keep great staff or their challenged in hiring them. Your identity as the leader makes a huge difference.
Because survival mode often has people all over the place or extremely complacent it also Stifles Creativity. When your brain stays focused on fighting daily threats instead of more expansive and powerful movement that grows the business, you lack the mental space needed for big, clear, and prosperous business ideas.
True growth does not come from doing more tasks. It comes from changing the identity behind the work so you can lead, earn, and live from a place of true safety and power.
If you are ready to step out of survival mode and grow your income with ease, let me know.
