July acts as a powerful landmark for business owners.

It is the exact halfway point of the year, making it the perfect time to pivot, double down or simply assess and lock in.

Let’s face it, many of those ambitious January goals may have fallen short or shifted completely. But July is like a Fresh start.

I actually like working in quarters, but this half way mark is significant.

It is not abnormal to find that some of the goals from January have not been realized, but July is a great space for fresh perspective.

It's also necessary for a business's landscape to change.

Rather than viewing these past months as a failure, you can use July to reflect on what you have learned and pivot your mid year reset for the rest of the year.

Make a mental note:

Being “active” isn’t the same as making progress in business.

This is important to highlight because many business owners consider hustling hard or simply going to work everyday as progress.

It’s important to check to see how aligned you’ve been with the growth you desire in your business.

As you hit the mid-year mark, evaluate which tasks actually moved the needle.

Ditch the illusion of busyness, and double down on the high-leverage activities that generate more revenue with greater ease.

Refocus your energy to ensure your efforts yield tangible growth.

Not just posting every day on social but actually knowing that you’re getting clients because of that. Not just working every day servicing clients in your business but knowing that your business is growing.

That your business is becoming the foundation that will work for you and not just you working for the business.

This is the part that many entrepreneurs get wrong.

They just continue working their routine and wonder at the end of the year why nothing changed.

Completely understandable.

It’s your old identity.

We know old Identities don’t create new reallities.

Look at your unfulfilled goals at this point as data, not failure.

This is so important because there is hidden data in between who you are now and the goals that you decided to have by the end of of the year.

You can call this the messy middle.

The space of transition between an old, outdated strategy and a new stage of the Vision can feel uncomfortable.

Working but not changing and growing, still feeling exhausted from unmet desires is an illusion of productivity without peace.

This will surely lead to burnout.

Awareness and acknowledgement of this discomfort is a sign of growth, not failure.

As a Business owner you must learn to say “no” to draining tasks that aren’t truly moving you forward.

Keeping you active, but not necessarily progressive.

This a great time, right here in July, to do a mini-audit on your current systems, expenses, team alignment, and or personal fulfillment in your business.

If things are misaligned it is bound to be a domino affect.

It is not going to make this last half of the year easier.

6 Months Is Plenty Of Time to gain full momentum or turn things around.

July is the Turning Point.

This is especially important if you have years of experience in your business.

Routine alone often steals from new business goals and new desires.

Evaluate if you have actually been in alignment with the next space of evolution for your business or have you been actively doing the same thing.

If you need clarity and strategy for the next 6 months here are two ways I offer high level support:

Success on Purpose
